Sturgeon

We pursue sturgeon for you most of the year and you can keep one per day (as long as retention is permitted). One of our favorite areas is the lower Columbia River estuary during June and July. This is an excellent fishery that might keep you from having lunch due to the constant biting of sturgeon on your line.

These trips are a great time for anyone and newer anglers will learn how to use the rod and reel to hook and land these larger fish. Getting a keeper sturgeon to take home is getting some of the best fish meat there is. Many people prefer sturgeon to halibut and these fish can produce a lot of meat.

Many shakers can be caught (sturgeon under 38″) and there are also many keepers available . Keeper sturgeon have a slot limit 38″ to 54″ in length and are extremely fun to catch. CALL 503-341-9571.
